Believe me, quality is fantastic and no DVD can ever compare with this downloaded stuff.
HOUNDDOG is a provocative Southern tale set in the late 1950's rural Alabama about a precocious young girl Lewellen (Dakota Fanning) and her journey into the beginnings of adulthood and her struggle for freedom from the abuse and repression that surrounds her.
She acquires other moments of childhood happiness playing in the woods with her friend, Buddy, but when that veers toward innocent sexual games, it becomes clear that Lewellen has experienced more than a little girl should?a painful secret that she?s kept buried inside. However, when she?s raped by a teenage boy, her spirit comes close to the breaking point.
This really just isn't a very well-conceived movie, and on top of everything else, it never seems to be able to figure out what era it's taking place in. Since Lewellen is trying to get to an Elvis concert, one must assume it takes place in the '50s or '60s.
So, go ahead and download Free Hounddog, if you do have a speedy internet connection and enough space on hard disk. Me, I am gonna watch online “Hounddog” as would like to tell my friends what happens on movie, before anyone rushes to theaters and all.
